USA Patriot Act:
New Federal Regulations for Opening
Accounts
Federal
Law requires all banks to obtain, verify, and record information that
identifies each
person who opens an account.
What this means for you:
When you open an account, we will ask for your name, street and mailing
address, date of
birth, social security or tax identification number, and other information
that will allow us to
verify your identity. We will also make and retain a copy of your driver's
license or other
identifying documents.
